Emergency Card |
| You
need to move urgently because of illness, or to protect yourself from
danger
|
We will need to see clear evidence of an 'urgent' medical assessment, disrepair inspection, or police recommendation |
| The
Homefinder Project Group meets monthly to look at requests for Emergency Cards
|
If an immediate decision is needed, the Homefinder Lettings Co-ordinator will ask at least 2 members of the Group to approve the request |
|
An Emergency Card will be awarded for a set time
period. If you don't apply for a home during
that time, your case will be looked at again
|
The Project Group may decide to allow you more time, or remove the Emergency Card and place you in the 'Gold' band of applicants |
